We are having a brilliant time learning about the Egyptians today, this morning we have written our names in hieroglyphs and even completing some mathematical sums in ancient Egyptian!

This afternoon we have used the hieroglyphics we learnt to talk about different food offerings we would give to the Gods during the ‘Beautiful Festival of the Valley.’ We dressed for the party and placed our presents outside the tomb remembering the dead in the Egyptian afterlife. You all listened brilliantly and asked some informative questions, well done we have been so impressed with all of Year 4 today!
