Geography at Seaton St Paul's C of E Junior School
At Seaton St Paul’s C of E Junior School, we love Geography! Our Geography curriculum and teaching focuses on enabling our children to think as geographers, whilst participating in a wide variety of experiences to enhance their learning. This allows our children to learn about Geography from others and outside the four walls of the classroom! We use our local area to help us with our lessons. During our Geography lessons, we want our children to have the opportunity to be inspired and curious about the world that will remain with them for the rest of their lives! We believe it is important for our children to understand the relevance of Geography and be equipped with knowledge about diverse places, people, resources, natural and human environments and the Earth’s key physical and human processes. This is achieved by collecting and analysing data through fieldwork and using maps to assist with this.
