The children were very lucky to have a visit from Amanda who works for Phunky Foods! At the start of the session, Amanda tested the children’s knowledge by asking them what the Eatwell plate was and if they could name all the different sections of it. The class were then able to successfully match the ingredients we were using during the session to the correct food group. Well done 3S!

We then moved onto the main focus of this lesson. This was for the children to practise developing their cutting (in particular the claw grip and bridge grip), peeling and grating skills, which helped them to create a character bagel face! I was incredibly impressed with the results!
